Well an alpha is alpha ins't it.
I somethimes feel the same way... i never will follow an aplha again, but then 
i want to know (and to see) the progress the kubuntu dev's are making 
and...jump into an alpha.
I'm not an expert but having an problem an be able to resolve it with the help 
of people like Goh Lip makes you learn a lot.
