I think Kubuntu login manager is SDDM. Packages are sddm and
kde-config-sddm (applet for System Settings). There are also several
sddm-theme-... theme packages.
You may have SDDM installed already, but not being used. You can do
`dpkg-reconfigure -plow sddm` to set what your default login manager is.

lightdm-kde-greeter doesn't seem to exist. You probably are looking at
lightdm-gtk-greeter...
