Yes, it is, since zlib (RLE and Huffman codes), together with 
damage-rectangles give you the best compression you can get in these 
synthetic environments. In fact, the VNC/RFB stream gets imported into the 
file format for over 90%.

If you can provide me a viewer with a wider installbase, that can be streamed 
to, you have my attention.

Good question.
I've thought about this, but came to the conclusion, I don't want to reïnvent 
the wheel (yet) by writing my own player. However, this will happen in the 
near future. In fact, I'm planning to stream right into HTML with AJAX and 
Canvas, but first, I need get make some money out of the project, cause my 
bank account has been going downwards since last september.
More specifically, I'm planning to provide business-leveled (live and 
faq-oriented) videohelpdesking. If you know someone who could be interested, 
you know where to find me ;-)
