Nvidia, xgl and games on hardy

Try running glxgears as:
glxgears -display :0.0
same thing for glxinfo:
glxinfo -display :0.0
I don't completely understand why that works for me, maybe someone
else might know, but I have direct rendering enabled on the 0.0
display, but not on 1.0, which is what everything defaults to. It
solves my rendering speed problem, but I don't know about graphical
errors.
If you want to run your games on a different display, set the DISPLAY
environment variable to the display that works best ie:
DISPLAY=:0.0
Your mileage may vary.
