ShaderError: error: Exceeded max TGSI temps (33/16)

Hi All

Odd one (I think)

I get this 

ShaderError: error: Exceeded max TGSI temps (33/16)

when trying to get to options/settings or load of a saved game, but game plays 
okay otherwise, until a save or load is needed or a setting change (like turn 
off music :->)

It ran on Jammy (22.04) on this box
It ran on Nobal (24.04) when  first upgraded from Jammy on this box
It stopped running on Nobal (24.04) after a later update / full=upgrade on this 

box
It did not (IIRC) / does not not run on Oricular on this box
It also ran on ElementryOS 7.01 (based on Jammy) on this box

New info missed on first post

It also "may have" ran on ElementryOS 8.0 (Based on Nobal) on this box
It does not now run on ElementryOS 8.0 after a update full=upgrade cycle

It's 64 bit so not tried with Win7 on this box
It does run on an updated/full-upgraded Nobal on my Macbook-Pro (circa 2016)
