The output you've posted in this thread suggests that you're actually
trying to go from Kubuntu 24.10 to Kubuntu 25.04, which is a valid
upgrade path since they're both interim releases.

Yes. The above problem is the problem. That page lets you know
that upgrades have been temporarily suspended because they're working
on the issue.

If you click on the Kubuntu link on that page, it takes you to this
confirmed bug report that's in progress:

You can bookmark that page and keep an eye on the bug or you can log
on and add your email to the list so you'll be notified when the
issue is fixed.
