How to get Subversion 1.14.2 or higher on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS?

I need a version of subversion 1.14.2 or higher because the plaintext password
cache is needed on my Ubuntu Server 22.04.5 LTS which is running subversion
1.14.1 now (where the plaintext store is unavailable).

So I would like to know if it is possible to install/upgrade subversion on that
machine from the 24.04.1 Ubuntu apt repository?

apt policy subversion says that I have the lastest 1.14.1 and that is the latest
available.

On my 24.04.1 Ubuntu server at home I have subversion 1.14.3 but that was
recently dist-upgraded.

I cannot do the dist-upgrade on the server I ask about because it is only
available to me via VPN and ssh (PuTTY) since it is across the ocean from here.

Any advice appreciated!
