I meant that it did work on all previous (AFAIR) versions upto 25.04 it is 
still working for me on 18.04.6 to 24.04.3 (and ElementryOS 8.02)

I'm on wriong boxat moment but will see if there is an option

That thread looks very like my problem apart from I get nothing when clicking 
"open as root"

Also that thread was "Closed Unsolved"

Yeh DuckAI mentioned that but gave no details, it also infered that Rust Sudo 
(sudo-rs) could be at fault (by not supporting the "-A" paramitor)
