Hi All For history of this see also Endless loop It seems that this "may" be the cause:- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/2125220 as can be seen it effects official flavours as well as less so ones I only found this by accident, now I only have to find a cure of work around Thanks to all who helped Grizz
