I have some old Acer Aspire One netbooks,  and I just went to Acer.com,
navigated to

https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/drivers-and-manuals

and when I typed the SNID number on the tag on the bottom of the case, the
site coughed up ten different BIOS versions, the most recent from 2022.
(The laptop's tag says it was manufactured in 2011.)

Does your laptop no longer have the Acer tag on the bottom panel?
